Both sides run RustDesk; the person getting help shares their ID and password, and the helper connects with that ID to control the mouse and keyboard. Great for supporting family, clients or partner PCs from afar.

FAQ

Q. Is installation really not needed?

Right. Just double-click the downloaded file — no setup wizard or admin rights required.

Q. Can it work with just a browser?

To control the screen, a small program must run on the remote PC. A browser alone can only view the screen.

Q. Is it safe?

The connection is encrypted and no one can connect without the password. Still, only share your ID and password with people you trust, and refuse requests from strangers.

Q. Does it cost anything?

RustDesk is free and open source. You can use it at no cost.
